As experts in stainless steel sheet processing, we have added press braking to complement our extensive range of services. With our CNC-controlled press brake, we can bend sheet metal blanks of various thicknesses, lengths and widths with excellent bending angle accuracy. With our press brake we can process sheets with a thickness of 3 to 8 mm, a bending length of 50 to 3,000 mm and a sheet metal width of up to 2,000 mm. Other dimensions are also possible after inspection by our technical management.
What is Bending?
Bending is a forming technique in which sheet metal is cold-formed under the action of a mechanical force. This takes place along the entire bending line simultaneously and at precise angles. At RFSG we use free bending with die (three-point bending).
How does the bending process work at RFSG?
To implement your desired finished dimension, we need your finished part drawing. With this, we create a bending program with the production parameters of our CNC-controlled bending press. After accurate cutting on our laser cutting machines, we then bend the final component.
What dimensions and key data does RFSG use for bending?
We can bend stainless steel blanks with a thickness of 3 to 8 mm, a bend length of 50 to 3,000 mm and a sheet depth of up to 2,000 mm for you. In addition, we can also bend other sheet thicknesses, lengths and widths after technical inspection. Please contact us!
