Ask us your question

How fast is the delivery?

Delivery is made throughout Germany within 1-2 working days. In Europe we deliver within 3-4 working days. Both are valid from the day of completion.

What is deburring?

Burrs are removed during deburring. Burrs are sharp edges, fraying or splinters of a workpiece that occur during metal processing.

What is parallelism?

Parallelism is used to specify the shape tolerance within which a generated surface must be located. The tolerance limits are defined as two imaginary surfaces placed parallel above and below the surface to be measured. If the real surface breaks through one of the parallel surfaces, the tolerance is exceeded.

What is a microstructure analysis?

During a microstructure examination, a ground, polished and etched sample is examined under a microscope.

What are the loading times at Rostfrei-Stahl?

Deliveries can be made Monday to Thursday between 6.00 am and 2.30 pm, and on Fridays between 6.00 am and 12.30 pm; collections can be made Monday to Friday between 8.00 am and 12.30 pm.

Does RFSG also issue certificates in English?

Our suppliers issue us with 3.1 certificates in German and English, sometimes also in French. We issue restamping certificates in German and English.

Is the date on the order confirmation incoming or outgoing?

We always confirm the dispatch date of the goods to our customers. In Germany, the transit time of our forwarder is 1-2 days, depending on the destination, and we calculate 4-5 days for exports to Europe. A highlight: Our lorry to Great Britain departs every Tuesday and delivers to our customers on Wednesday and Thursday.

Do you only use EU material or also Asian material?

RFSG generally processes sheet metal from European manufacturers. The majority of the primary material comes from Sweden, Slovenia and Belgium. We can fulfil customer requirements with regard to EU material by means of specifications in our ERP system.

Where can I find material data sheets according to European Standard (EN)?

The chemical abbreviation contains the most important components of the material (chromium, nickel, molybdenum, nitrogen) as well as their content in the alloy. X stands for ‘stainless’.
